The easiest way to the Diamond | League guides

Greeting summoner. this is my biggest articles, where I’ll teach you how to become the most powerful teammate you ever saw. I play League A LOT, starting from the end of Season 1, and I played in every Elo division, from bronze (in season 3) to challenger in the team ranked 5×5 games. I earned p1 at west servers, d5 on Japan, and right now I’m playing at Russian servers. So as you can see I have plenty of experience and I want to share my knowledge of League with you, my friends, so let’s begin!

Knowledge is power – League statistics

Let’s start from digging some data about LoL statistics. OP.GG will greatly help us with this task. As you can see not everyone is deserved to earn a high elo, like diamond or even gold! That is how ELO system works in League, but if a dedicated person could give a little more attention to the philosophy and theory, that a standard LoL player, then he could go behind this statistics and end in the Elo Heaven. But this is an extremely hard task and not everyone could take such responsibility.

Most of the people do not bother about their ranks, they are playing just for fun. So do not think that everyone in your team is playing to achieve the victory, you will definitely meet peoples who took rofl-champions just to have fun.

Road to Diamond: Behavior

Your behavior in the game is playing decisive role in your performance. And this is the only reason why 77% of players are sitting in silver and bronze.

Climbing the Elo Ladder is extremely hard work, and you must understand that you are not playing in LoL, you are working to achieve something you really want. Find some motivation that will give you strengths on that hard road, no matter what will it be. If you couldn’t find motivation, then why would you bother to increase your rating?

But even considering that elo boosting is hard work, you still need to learn how to take your part of pleasure from it. Because you couldn’t stay on this hard road without some good feelings:)

Road to Diamond: Three types of games

The first time of games are – 100% lose. Yep, you can’t win every game, and you must clearly understand it. There will be around 35-40% of these games, so you need to be prepared. This is such kind of games after which you want to throw the game and never enter SoloQ never-again. But this is how the system works, so just understand it.

The second type – 100% win. Enemies in this kind of games (30-35% of all your games) are just having fun and making some really strange things that allowing you to easily win the game without even trying. After such games, you may think that you extremely strong, and this could play a decisive role in the third type, the most important one.

And the third one – competitive ones. This is the kind of games where only your skill will play a role in the result of the match. Only if you have enough motivation, gaming and leadership skills, you will be able to gather your team to achieve the competitive goals in the game.

Road to Diamond: Final words

As you can see there is no any magical way to quickly earn Diamond+ rang in League Elo system. The first thing you need to learn that your behavior, your leadership skills, and understanding of the game – all these things combined will sooner or later bring you the desired ranking position.

Always remember your final goal and never let the tilt to control your mood.

Prefiguration of Champions: Fini’s drawings

Pre-oficial images of champion

When Riot Games release new champion, or updating the old one, they try to save his character at the picture, and images of champions is not an exception.

Until this art:

Oficial Ivern

Was this:

Feralpony ivern

History of superoficial arts

Senior game designer Brian Feeney, also known as FeralPony, creates these artworks, while Roit’s artists work on the official pictures. This tradition was started many years ago, in the year 2012 when they accidentally released an incomplete picture. several times. FeralPony admits: “I wanted to create something so nasty that my work will never published recklessly. So no one will be confused with the finished product.

It’s a tradition now. Thanks to the undeniable talent of FeralPony, we have a temporary replacement to official pictures that Riot use during testing. Feralpony says, “I’m trying to give time to each picture so that it’s funny and consistent with the spirit of the character.” Goodbye, boring grey squares – long live the new beautiful faces in the Summoner’s Rift!

In the first years Feralpony painted temporary pictures far from always, and many champions never felt the wizard’s brush.

Everything changed one fatal day when FeralPony tried to draw in his brand new champion League of Legends, Talia. He recalls, “I had no way of getting her spirit, I didn’t have inspiration.”

Talia’s little problem

Feralpony Talia

The Champions Dev team has been experiencing the difficulty of implementing Talia in the game: the witch was too much reminiscent of other champions. The Fini’s failure only underlined this and became a sort of “loyalty test” for developers. To make Talia more unique, they made several changes to her model. When FeralPony regained a digital brush, he easily painted this witch. This attempt to prevent the release of unfinished pictures has become a test of champions to the uniqueness of the appearance and nature of which the persona can be easily portrayed.

Today’s creativity Feralpony became an integral part of the champions dev part of the team.

King is dead, Long live the king

Recently FeralPony said that he think to end with these picturies, and his place can be taken with some dude. To the Dude’s role he choose senior analitic – Kory Dirborn, also known as Ququroon, which have a master’s permission to draw these masterpieces.

Ququroon said that he will continue this awesome tradition with a great pleasure.

And now just take a look at this SUPEROFICIAL image collection:

League of Legends 7.3 patch

Professional cybersport patch for League of Legends 7.3

Greetings, summoners! Welcome to the 7.3 update which is dedicated to the professional cybersport. But this is not mean that ALL attention will be dedicated to professionals, but competitive games already started in almost all regions, so we have a plenty of time to notice some tendentions and react at them in a proper way.

When 2017 season started, we said about our plans about update cycle, focused on stabilization of the game state. They done some work on deadly abilities of champions, with physical damage, it was necessary to maintain their health in perpective. Now, when this parameter is Ok (well, it is TOO OK), we work on those who look really unbalanced. Not all that we change in 7.3 is about lethality – Le Blanc and Camille (whose are lethal just by themselfes) will be changed a little, due to the obvious reasons. We have a few more high priority changes.

And now let’s go back to the update cycle (we like to talk about it) – In patch 7.4 we prepare a hotels for bot line champions of all roles: Firstly we will deal with those champs whose still unbalanced, and then we will start to think about somethink bigger. No that does not mean that every item for rangers and supports will be sell for a half of their price and give twice more parameters, but our changes, how we think, will help to the most weak champions to shine again.

That’s all for today! We wish you a luck in getting away from Regnar (and voidelings)!
