LoL Quests will not spoil your game

The quests will set new goals for achievement in the Summoners Rift, and for their fulfillment players will receive unique images, summoner icons, and some loot as a reward. This is an unexplored territory in the League of Legends, so we do not know what it will lead to in a couple of years, but we have guidelines that will help to distinguish a good mission from a bad one.

This is a delicate moment. It is important for us that the tasks do not have a negative impact on your games. This means that assignments should not prompt play on defeat or play in suboptimal ways. However, this rule provides exceptions, when all five players will have the same goal.

Not all tasks can be performed in one session, but no tasks will depend only on how much you are ready to play.

In short, we want players to enjoy the task – or a sense of satisfaction from overcoming the challenges.

MISSIONS – THE PURPOSE OF THE GAME?

Do not worry, the first and most important line of the League of Legends is a game in which players fight each other in the Rift. This is not a role-playing game; We do not want our game to be based on the execution of tasks or the deletion of lines on the list. We are not going to flood the game with a stream of tasks only to change the usual state of things.

With the help of tasks, we want to add depth to those elements of the game that you already like. Now the regional teams and teams responsible for the events will have the opportunity to add assignments to diversify your gaming experience with new goals and rewards. You will be able to perform a number of tasks to show your support for M19 (or Na’Vi, if you are the same masochist as me) and get a unique icon, or relive the story of a new character with a set of tasks dedicated to him.

Blade’s End

New: Talon skills now wound enemy champions and elite monster for a short period of time, wounds stuck up to 3 times. When Talon attack target with auto attacks that has 3 wounds, they transformed into a bloodlet, that deal a great periodical physical damage.

Noxian Diplomacy

Reworker: Talon jump towards the target, and deal physical damage. If Talon use this ability in close range, then he will deal critical strike, and damage will be increased by 50%. If target dies due to Noxian Diplomacy, then Talon heal himsleft a little, and reduce recharge rate by 50%.

Recharge: 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 / 4 sec  8 / 7.5 / 7 / 6.5 / 5 sec

Mana cost: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 30 at all levels

Range of ability: 550 (170 to deal critical strike)

Damage: 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 / 160 + 100% of additional attack power ( 120 / 150 / 180 / 210 / 240 +150% of additional attack power in close combat)

Rake

Recharge: 10 sec on all levels 9 sec on all levels

Mana cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 55/60/65/70/75

Minimal effect time: Now Blade will not return to Talon sooner than 0.8 second after they was thrown.

Minimal effect time: Now blades can be moved to a target that was first hitted by Talon’s auto attack.

Minimal effect time: Now he has even more blades.

When you play as Talon then you must prefer Middle line over the others.

Percentage of damage that you deal:

  1. Physical – 88.1%
  2. Magical – 6.7%
  3. Pure damage – 5.1%

That means that you need items that increase your physical power, but everybody know that 🙂

As we can see, this champion changed, and many players do not how know to play him properly.

Remember that they may vary. All games are unique and every one has their own path to win.

Basic tips for Talon

Early game as Talon

Do not try to kill enemy champion in the early game. Just stand on your line and kill minions. Use your Rake to make this task easier. If you use your blades for a farm, then try to take that position, that your skill will hit an enemy aswell.

If you are challenged by a skillfull opponent, then try to kill as many minions as you can, especially big minions with guns. Do not risk your life too much, if you can not reach range minions, then let them be.

Your main challenge – farm enough gold to buy core items, then you can roam and gank enemy champions.  You can effectively stay on line if you will use Rake, but remember that this skill consumes a lot of mana, and you have a bad mana regeneration. Try to ask your jungler for blue buff, this will make easier your early game. Or if he can not share his buff with you, then try to ask for help. All you need – kill you opponent 1 or 2 times.

Middle game as Talon

This is ideal stage of the game for Talon. If you have your core artifacts, then your task – roam and gank all enemy champions. You can gank lines very effectively. Talon have ability to rush to enemy, slow him down, and very powerfull ultimate that deal great damage to all enemies in wide radius. Play aggressively and your enemies will die one after another.

Try to convince your team to kill Dragon when you perform a gank, then your team will take a huge advantage. And even if enemies will come to fight for Dragon, then just kill them all. Talon abilities are perfect when enemies group up.

Late game as Talon

In Late game Talon do not lose his actuality. But remember that is became hard to survive in team fightes. Enemy team already have plenty of good artifact on damage, and on other hand, you do not have any protective artifacts. So you must mastered your skills, to survive only by them. You need good reaction, and quickly react on various problems. One mistake, like unlucky jump and Talon watch the game as spectator.

Every time look what items opposite team buy, if you see some wards then it will be risk to use your ultimate, because enemies will kill you in a second.

In whole Late stage of games is not much different from Middle stage. It is not so fun, but your actions still same, find weak point and then crush them.

Recap

I can not say that Talon is a simple champion. Firstly you need to master AD champion on middle line, secondly you must know how to farm well, and thirdly – you must have a good reaction rate, and you need to take right actions. You can not die as Talon, because you either play well and kill enemies fastly, or from the very beginning of the game you will be just a ballast for your team because enemies will kill you as soon as possible. So if you want to master this hero, then try him over and over, and your first games i recommend to play with AI, to knew all basics about this Champion.

Preseason Changes

League of Legends preseason

In this preseason not only Assassins has changed, and today i will tell you about all other important changes of the Summoning Rift. Plants animated forest, and armor penetration, stealth and support items are changed.

Jungle

Let’s begin with interactive plant that we united under shared name – Living Forest. Each of them can appear in random places in Jungle or in the river, and if you destroy them, then you will be granted unique effect.

Explosive bumps grow only in forest, when you destroy it, all that stand around bump will be knocked back. Explosive bumps are useful as creative wasy to escape after invasion, as simle jumps over the walls.

Seers Flower, grow at the border between jungle and river. If you destroy it, it will release a pollen at the opposite to the attacker side. Pollen reveals invisible champions and totems.

Preseason 2017 LoL

Honey Fruit grows only on the river, and scatter around healing fruits. They heal you, and give mana, also they slow down a little bit champion that eat them.

Riot decided to remove bonuses for Smiting jungle monsters. These bonuses were very usefull, especialy at the early stage of the game, but they do not encouraged you to make interesting choices. To help junglers that relied on these buffs, Riot changed jungl mosters, and add to Smite an Healing Effect. Also the did some changes in jungle camps, to emphasize their uniqueness. Raptors and Krags population is increased, Gromp now in very obnoxious.

Stealth

You already know about Assassins update, but beside rework of these deadly champions, you also waiting for a change between view of champions and stealth.

Stealth now divided to a two categories:

  • Invisibility
  • Disguise

Invisibility – is a stealth than every body know. If you Invisible, then enemy can not see you, and can not act with you.

Disguise – is a alternative version of stealth. With it you are invisible for hidden totems, and enemies, until you get to close to them. Passive ability of Evelynn is a great example of Disguise. And now this ability was gained to some other champions.

Totems

Vision totems, was replaced by Control Totems. That not only give a view, but also disable enemy totems and traps, helping you to control the right place. Control Totems unveil disguised champions, but do not unveil invisible.

Assassins Items

Preseason 2017 LoL

Armor penetration has disapeared and now deadliness take his place. It almost the same, but effectivity now changed with the level of opponent. Higher lever – better penetration. In general you deal less damage to enemies that lower than you, and bigger to enemies that has higher lever.

Also Assassins has 2 new items:

  • Edge of Night – Give attack power, movement speed outside of combat, deadliness, magic resist, but main thing – active ability. Veil – with activasion, after a little delay you will be granted with a Magic Shield
  • Poacher’s Knife – Item for Junglers, after you steal enough big mosters in enemy forest it will tranform into a Serrated Dirk.

Some other Assassins items was reworked too.

Duskblade of Draktharr now gives deadliness and movement speed outside of combat, old passive effect was removed. New passive effect – Darkness gives you a truesight when enemy totem see you, and Night hunter deald additional pure damage if an attack was made after you stayed in an blind spot of enemy.

Support items

Developers changed Aegis of the Legion. Now this is not BIS item, now it is situational. For long 8 years this aura rised Magic Armor of friendly units, but nothing is eternal under the moon.

Riot also added some completely new items for players:

  • Knight’s Oath – Rise defence and allow to assign allies as a partner. While you stay close to a partner you gain Armor and Movement Speed, part of the damage divided between you, but part of damage that deal your partner will heal you.
  • Redemption – increase healing, and shields. It active effect allows you to choose any position on map. After a short delay alies will be healed, and enemies will be damaged. You can use Redempion even after death.

Talantes

Riot saved some serius changes in the Talantes. Strength of the Ages was replaced by Сolossus Courage. When you CC enemy you will gained by shield from Courage. Thats all. Serious changes in Talantes!

New: Now the first blow [Q] gives an overview of the target to which Master Yi is going to teleport next.

The first blow [Q] of Master Yi will not move him to the Baron Nashoru if it is the main target.

Meditation [W] is no longer disabled after a failed attempt to use the first strike [Q].

Wuju Style

Fixed a bug due to which the increase in passive attack power [E] was not taken into account when calculating the damage effect of the active Wuju style [E], if it was used immediately after reloading.


Nasus

Now, increase the attack range is added to the effect of Fury of the Sands (new amounts to 175 ⇒ 200).

Fury of the Sands

Deleted: Part of the damage is converted into force on skills Nasusa duration.

New: Nasus also receives 15 | 35 | 55 armor and magic resistance when activated. This bonus increases by an additional 1 | 2 | 3 per second (a total of 30 | 65 | 100  for 15 seconds).

Assemble a team to defeat the damned nightmare bots and their ruthless ruler until they condemned all the people that you love and appreciate, TO DEATH! Starting with this update, nightmarish bots will not wreak havoc in one, but in two game modes queue variable. Fight with the bots in normal mode, or test their limits in an almost endless series of increasingly difficult levels. Find the weakness of the nightmarish bots and disclose their sinister plans, but remember – if you look long into an abyss, then, sooner or later, the abyss will look into you.

When it comes to champions, about 12 of were updated in patch 6.19 that appeared on 20 of September 2016. Most of the changes were made in order to create an equilibrium between the new and improved champion and the other already existing champions.

CHAMPIONS CHANGES IN LEAGUE OF LEGENDS PATCH 6.19

This being said, the following characters suffered changes:

Singed

The ticks to his Q – Poison Trail – have been changed from 1 to 4, but the damage per second remains unchanged. There was also a bug where Q – Poison Trail was dealing way too much damage to Baron Nashor and Vilemaw and Poison Trail’s damage from AP scaling now properly applies to Baron Nashor and Vilemaw.

To W – Mega Adhesive – a bug where Mega Adhesive lasted 0.5 seconds longer than intended was fixed.

Kog’Maw

Kog’Maw’s base attack speed changed from 0.625 to 0.665, while the attack speed growth stat changed from 3.5% to 2.65%.

His Caustic Spittle (Q) get bonus attack speed. It grants now 15/20/25/30/35% attack speed.

W – Bio-Arcane Barrage – no longer doubles Kog’s attack speed or the attack speed cap, but deals more max health per hit, has a higher range early, and lasts longer. Furthermore, it no longer doubles Kog’Maw’s attack speed, increases his attack speed cap to 5.0, or decreases his cast times by 50% and it no longer deals 4/8/12/16/20 bonus magic damage per basic attack.

When it comes to the max health damage, the old 2% of the target’s maximum health has been replaced with 2/3/4/5/6% of the target’s maximum health and the max health damage ratio increased from 0.75% max health per 100 ability power to 1% max health per 100 ability power. The bonus range also increased from 90/120/150/180/210 to 130/150/170/190/210. The cooldown which was 13/11.5/10/8.5/7 seconds is now 17 second at all ranks. However, now the Bio-Arcane Barrage’s cooldown begins on cast, rather than when the effect ends and lasts 8 seconds at all ranks instead of 6 seconds.

Anivia

Anivia patch notes 6.19

Anivia was able to win the entire battlefield using only one skill, E – Frostbite. In this case, the damage dealt by this skill decreases from 55/85/115/145/175 to 50/75/100/125/150 and the chilled damage also decreases from 110/170/230/290/350 to 100/150/200/250/300. This changes have been made in order to make Anivia utilize her entire kit to succeed, rather than leaning on a single ability.

Aurelion Sol

The passive – Center of the Universe – deals 20-130 (at levels 1-18) damage, instead of 20-97 (at levels 1-18).

W – Celestial Expansion, deals bonus damage from 10/20/30/40/50 to 5/10/15/20/25 with the COST of 40 + 22/24/26/28/30 mana per second, instead of 40 + 16/22/28/34/40 mana per second.

On E – Comet of Legend, the Escape Velocity was removed. Aurelion Sol may now cast Comet of Legend any time outside of combat (goes on 5 second cooldown when taking damage). Also, Aurelion now takes flight immediately, even if cast outside the cast range. When cast during Comet of Legend, Starsurge now travels in the same direction as Aurelion Sol if it was cast just slightly off-angle.

Cassiopeia

On W – Miasma – the cast range is now 800 instead of 900, while, E – Twin Fang – healing on poisoned targets changed from 5/10/15/20/25 to 5-22 (at levels 1-18).

Corki

Generally, the attack damage growth stat is from 2.5 to 3.5, while the attack damage at level 18 goes from 98.5 to 115.5.

Dr. Mundo

The minimum damage for E – masochism is raised from 20/40/60/80/100 to 30/50/70/90/110, while the maximum damage changes from 40/80/120/160/200 to 60/100/140/180/220. The cooldown decreases from 7 seconds to 6 seconds.

Kled

For the passive – Skaarl, the Cowardly Lizard, the dismounted damage reduction was removed. Kled’s basic attack damage against minions and monsters is no longer reduced by 20%

R – Chaaaaaaaarge!!! – also comes with changes for movement speed trail duration that goes from 8 seconds to 6 seconds. the range, that used to be 4500 at all ranks goes to 3500/4000/4500.

Leona

For E – Zenith Blade – a bug preventing Leona from Flashing during Zenith Blade’s cast time was fixed.

Soraka

The W – Astral Infusion’s cooldown goes from 4/3.5/3/2.5/2 seconds to 8/6.5/5/3.5/2 seconds.

Twitch

Q – Ambush’s Attack Speed changes from 30/40/50/60/70% to 30/35/40/45/50%.

Udyr

Udyr changes in patch 6.19

And the last champion who suffered changes this patch is Udyr. Udyr’s ultimate (R – Phoenix Stance) gets some aspects modified, such as the proc damage that goes from 25/60/95/130/165 to 40/80/120/160/200. The burn duration that was 5 ticks over 5 seconds is now 4 ticks over 4 seconds, but the burn damage per tick remains unchanged (10/20/30/40/50). The phoenix stance’s burn visual effects were also updated to better fit the area of effect.

When it comes to Summoner spell, they now have a 15-second cooldown at the start of the game, only smite charge timing is unaffected by this change.

OVERALL GAMEPLAY CHANGES

There are several changes in the Item Shop, too. One of them regards undoing a purchase. Now, undoing a purchase adds back the health you would’ve regenerated if you hadn’t made the purchase in the first place, whereas, in the past, it would have only subtracted the health gained from the time of the first purchase.

You can let your team know how much gold you need in order to purchase an item, by pinging it in the shop, using normal pings on the map, even outside the item shop window. It has been added a way of fast selling your items by right-clicking them.

There are also pings added post-launch: enemy/ally summoner spell cooldowns (via the scoreboard), respawn timers, passives with cooldowns, experience, a bunch more items, current gold, gold needed for purchase (see above).

Another bugs fixed are: the Oppressor mastery that before wasn’t amplifying the damage of abilities which applied movement-impairing effects. Also, Lee Sin’s Q2 – Resonating Strike and W1 – Safeguard, while before caused him to directly dash on top of his target, now this is removed. When it comes to Zyra, her plants now count as pets.

Alistar is allowed to basic attack during W – Headbutt’s animation and Final Boss Veigar plays VO lines when casting R – Primordial Burst.

Captain Volibear’s golden shoulder pad used to disappeared while idle. It no longer disappears.
